Animal Research Perspectives (ARP) is committed to the long-term preservation and perpetual accessibility of its published content. To ensure that all articles remain available to the scholarly community, ARP actively deposits its content with the following long-term digital preservation services:
l CLOCKSS – a not-for-profit, dark archive that preserves digital scholarly materials through a globally distributed network of archive nodes.
l Portico – a comprehensive digital preservation service that ensures content remains accessible even if the journal ceases publication.
l Institutional Repositories – the final published version (Version of Record) of all articles is also archived in institutional repositories to provide additional access points and redundancy.
All content is continuously and actively deposited with these services upon publication. This archiving strategy ensures that ARP's content remains permanently available, citable, and discoverable, in accordance with DOAJ's best practice recommendations for long-term preservation.
